It compromises over 100 special aluminium alloy extrusions, or members and matching die-cast corners, grouped into four distinct but complimentary series of components. These make it possible to easily build frameworks of almost any size, shape or strength, which are then panelled, or fitted with doors as required. Joints only require a spanner or screwdriver and are completely rigid.
The Dorlec system is not only applicable to small desk units, electrical and electronic cabinets and consoles, machine guards and other industrial applications, but, particularly through special components in the 30 series, confidently extends into housing for the defence applications.
No Matter which series of components is used, savings are made in both the drawing office and the factory. In the drawing office, because detailed drawings are not necessary, and in the factory because no special metal forming plant or welding skills are required.
